How I Started:
After giving up smoking 3 years ago i put on alot of weight. Had to make a change to my lifestyle completely.
Tried static contractions previously looking for the "fast" way. Saw results but now im at home have opted for a more orthidox approach.
Why I Love It:
I wouldnt say i love it. I do enjoy some workouts.
Its a bit boring alone, but i get on with it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing my weight drop every week keeps me highly motivated.
Also logging on and reading other peoples posts keeps me on track.
roger, whats up bud? How things going for you? I finally have a good grasp on nutrition it seems. amazing you can lose weight without cardio/working out. However it feels so much better when you partake in them, plus my end goal is not just weight loss, I want to be defined so simply losing weight is not my main priority. anyhow, hope you are doing well and the family is in good health! take care friend
thanks for the note! I have been keeping busy still. Life is boring if it's not hectic it seems. Still doing good, progress slowed for a bit and even regressed I must admit but I am back on track and pushing hard. You have made a tremendous change so far so you definitely should not feel bad for relaxing a little. kids are a bit of a priority. Enjoy them and live healthy and get workouts in when you can! hope you are doing well friend!
monthly check in bud. how goes things your way? good idea on the swimming! I am thinking the same. hard to get a better, full body cardio work out, non-impact much less, and burn so many calories! hope all is well with your family and life my friend!
roger you better not be slacking off anymore bud, I am coming for ya (with your helpful tips of course, LOL) I hope you are doing great and life is treating you well. Thanks again for all your help and be sure to keep me on the updates
roger thanks for checking in man. things are going well. could be better as always but I am working and learning, and trying to improve. I know they are excuses but between some health conditions and work I am just taking a long time figuring it all out. I am far different than others with health
Congrats first on giving up smoking! Next, congrats for going to the "orthodox" approach. It's time tested and guarantees results. Just think of it this way....living healthier means being able to spend more quality time with your kid, and that is worth more than its weight in gold. Take care!
