How I Started:
I am a Kinesiology student at Cal State, Long Beach and absolutely love it. Should be graduating next spring with my BS in Kinesiology and Fitness. Exercise is my happy pill... it's my goal to fill a prescription for those who see me for fitness training in the future!
Why I Love It:
I love all aspects of a healthy lifestyle. The rush of a great workout, the pride in reaching a goal, and the self confidence it all builds. It inspires us to be the best version of ourselves we can be.
How I Stay Motivated:
That feeling of accomplishment, pride, and satisfaction that comes with staying on track. I never regret doing something healthy for my body, and I always thank my self for doing it. Staying positive and motivating others is huge for me.
I love working out with my boyfriend Cory. He kicks my booty in the gym for the price of a few kisses :)
BB Accomplishments:
I am getting into running at the moment. Really excited about it! Ran my first 5K in La Jolla, and I am signed up for another one on June 6th in Corona Del Rey! Next up is a 10K!

Goal (Long):
I want to gain 5 pounds of muscle through my shoulders and back and have a toned lean physique. After gaining the size in my upper body I'd like to cut down to 125. I also want to really dedicate myself to proper nutrition and a clean diet. Woo!

Hey! this is a response to the comment you left on my blog: I have a spinning bike at home, so I do 30-45 min. in the morning on an empty stomach. During contest prep I will gradually increase my cardio up to 2X's per day so it's nice to be able to do it at home. Running is hard on my joints so I don't do it. I am just not built for it, everybody is different. Good luck with your goal, you already look fantastic!
