AFTER 5 KNEE SURGERIES AND GAINING TO MUCH WEIGHT I WANT TO GET TO 200 POUNDS OR LESS TO START WITH. I WANT DEFINITION IN MY UPPER BODY AND ABS. EVENTUALLY I WOULD LIKE TO GET TO A RIPPED AND CUT 185. I KNOW IT IS A LOFTY GOAL BUT WITH MY WORK OUT PARTNERS I KNOW I CAN GET THERE. I WANT TO BE THERE IN NO LATER THAN CHRISTMAS OF 2010.
If it had not been for him I would still be sitting in my easy chair sucking down sodas and getting fatter than I was. He has taken me under his wing and increased my strenght by close to 60 pounds on the bench in just over 6 months.He will not let me give up and pushes me to limits that I thought were unreachable.

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Remind them that this is a life style change and not a fad that they can do for a while and then quit. It is something for the long haul that will make a definate change in thier life for the better.
Went to the gym Monday did 1mile running then shoulder work out jumped to the 35 lb dumb bells for shrugs and 25 lb for sckull crushers and 22 1/2 for dumb bell curls 17 1/2 for shoulder rotators. Worked my butt off felt good afterwards though. Tuesday had a stressful day at home went to the...
