Wow! What a rewarding experience! I was very itimidated because I thought I wasn't properly prepared for this one. There were 76 women-in one class, not 5 different height classes, and they were all great and had beautiful rhinstoned and dazzling suites, and all I had was a bikini that I loved to surf in and my flower to put in my hair. I brought my bikini rather than competition suite cause I thought it was more of a bikini contest so I prepared for just that. I came off of my diet from the Tournament of Champions and went into this contest rested and satisfied with my food...had a blast and ended up victorious as well! It can't get better than that! Best of all, I had my baby girl who just had her 3rd bday there with my and cheering for me, and then we celebrated her bday after that! |

This was a great experience as well! To place 3rd in a contest away from home was a good feeling! Although I was way too depleted and couldnt fill out any of my muscles for the life of me, I still placed well. I did my best to the knowledge that was given to me in training and dieting, and I put in on display. To be rewarded in such a way for hard work, no matter how high the rank is, was all that I really desired. |

This was an experience never to forget for me...It was my 1st National level Figure competition, going from a small competition of just 18 women to competing with 45 women in my class alone was a HUGE difference. I actually decided to pull out 2 weeks prior to because I had a lot of family and personal problems that threw me off course with diet and training, but my mother and best friend at the time (Brandon Curry-whom is now my hubby) encouraged me to finish so I picked up where I left and made it. I was so surprised when I placed 12th out of 45-I was no where near the shape or conditioning that I was before, but somehow I guess I had favor. Didn't know anyone there aside from Brandon and a few other Hawaii competitors so it was still a rewarding expereince. |

This was fun...I had competed in this contest 3 years in a row and could only get 2nd! I had to come back! I figured I worked harder than before and that 3rd times a charm so I took a chance and won! |

This one was a challenge...there were 2 girls whom I really thought beat me out muscularity wise, but I guess my thorough experience on stage helped me out with being able to make a better presentation...I was surprised by my win, but I am still greatful. I just want to win if I deserve it, so I believe I deserved it. =) |

It was an honor to place in the top 10 of the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Pageant! My very first international pageant, with 136 of the most beautiful women from around the world! I also had the honor of winning the title of Miss Congeniality! The biggest honor of the night for me! The other women voted for their favorite contestant and I was voted number 1! Lol! Gotta love the Aloha Spirit! My little girl was my biggest cheerleader! |

I promised myself I'd get back into modeling a year after my little girl was born...and I won the Overall USA Title exactly one week after she turned 1 year old. It was a total shocker to win! I was only the 2nd girl from Hawaii in the history of 23 years of the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Pageant to ever win the USA title. A blessing and honor! |
