I been working out all my life. While rehabing a football injury in college, I got really hooked. A friend of mine Sal Sollecito owned a health club in my home town. He incouraged me to compete in his contest. With his help I won my class. I continued to compete until about 1994. Then took some time off to get married and divorced. In July 2006 I had a major surgery, which really motivated me to compete again. It was a freak thing, that really pissed me off. To this day it has continued to motivate me every day. I plan to take my body to places it's never been.
Why I Love It:
Love the pump and the high I get after a really good workout. It's also great to get all the frustrations of the day and of life, out in the gym. Sometimes after a workout, I feel almost reborn and free of all my problems. The gym is my shrink! lol Keep me from working out and I'm ready to kill something.
Lastly, I love the healthy life style which creates a natural high.
How I Stay Motivated:
The mirror and of course bodybuilding.com
Life brings with it a lot of stress. I release that stress in the gym. This keeps me needing it more and more.

Thx Rob, any suggestions on how to get rid of this water bloat post contest? When I wake up in the AM, seems all is ok, but as the day goes on, I get major water build up. I am drinking 26 cups water a day to try and flush it out.
