I been working out all my life. While rehabing a football injury in college, I got really hooked. A friend of mine Sal Salicito owned a health club in my home town. He incouraged me to compete in his contest. With his help I won my class. I continued to compete until about 1994. Then took some time off to get married and divorced. In July 2006 I had a major surgery, which really motivated me to compete again. It was a freak thing, that really pissed me off. To this day it has continued to motivate me every day. I plan to take my body to places it's never been.
Why I Love It:
Love the pump and the high I get after a really good workout. It's also great to get all the frustrations of the day and of life, out in the gym. Sometimes after a workout, I feel almost reborn and free of all my problems. The gym is my shrink! lol Keep me from working out and I'm ready to kill something.
Lastly, I love the healthy life style which creates a natural high.
How I Stay Motivated:
The mirror and of course bodybuilding.com
Life brings with it a lot of stress. I release that stress in the gym. This keeps me needing it more and more.

Rob is A very good friend of mine,Im also A natural bodybuilder myself and he has taught me so much.competed with him in buffalo this year and can say it was a pleasure standing up there beside him.good luck in april rob,Your good friend Ed.
Doing very well myself. Sorry about the tendentious..Id really hate to encounter that during prep. Youll pull through though Im sure of this! Ive got a Q- how many Teens usually compete in the teens class? same with the Bantamweights??
Woot! You aiming for that Pro card?? Way things are going Im definitely entering the Teens and quite possibly Mens open. Some reason Im feeling more stomach-turny from doing the Teens ..No clue why. I'll be sure to say Hi as well! Im'a pretty shy person though LOL
Are you going to be in attendance during this years USBF Empire States?? I was curious if you were competing or not. Im startin' to get a tad nervous because it's my first show LOL. 7 weeks left till show time!
You got that right, getting in shape definitely is the easy part of the equation. Finances are always the pain in the tail. Hoping to pay it off while I am still in my 20's. Keep me posted on your prep for the shows! P.S. - Yeah, I went to school with her there, graduated a year before her. She's an incredible girl, sure do miss her. She works there you said? Tell her I said hello and to get in touch with me sometime haven't heard from her in quite some time.
Nope, sitting the spring out and just busting it in the gym and with work... want to transform a bit and grow and also pay off some bills... college bills are a pain
Your welcome. I'm having trouble with getting my deltoids larger. Right now I just do Arnold presses, side and posterior raises. What do you believe is the best lift for increasing the size of the shoulders?
Hey do you know if there's going to be any Fee regarding April 11ths show in Binghamton? On the flier it says free yet I dont know where to sign up..And everywhere else is saying its $40..
