Background

When I Started: Jan 1986
HOW I STARTED:

I been working out all my life. While rehabing a football injury in college, I got really hooked. A friend of mine Sal Sollecito owned a health club in my home town. He incouraged me to compete in his contest. With his help I won my class. I continued to compete until about 1994. Then took some time off to get married and divorced. In July 2006 I had a major surgery, which really motivated me to compete again. It was a freak thing, that really pissed me off. To this day it has continued to motivate me every day. I plan to take my body to places it's never been.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Love the pump and the high I get after a really good workout. It's also great to get all the frustrations of the day and of life, out in the gym. Sometimes after a workout, I feel almost reborn and free of all my problems. The gym is my shrink! lol Keep me from working out and I'm ready to kill something. Lastly, I love the healthy life style which creates a natural high.
