Well in general it has been great! But between Christmas and a head cold this last week I've missed some time in the gym. Kinda depressing, know what I mean?

realistically, i think i have a long way to go if i want to do well in a show. i was impressed with the 187lbs novice winner, he looked full and well balanced. so im not sure ill be ready by spring to be a legitimate competitor...

for cardio, i got lean quick but traded the weight by doing interval sprints. 5.5mph for 5 min, 2min sprint at 9mph, 2min at 6mph and repeated that for 4-6 intervals. i had to build up to it but it really worked and i felt great. right now i do about 3miles on my bike to get to school 4 days a week and 1 mile cool down after my lifts. i try not to raise my heart rate past about 140bmp.

Thanks man, really my shoulders feel best after tri-setting barbell press front or back, dumbell press, and then front or side raises about 4 sets.
