BIG GUNNS

Overall Goal:  Keep my training weight around 160-164 .Maintain arm ,chest and leg size .After reaching my goal of 60 pull-ups in 2008.I surpassed it this year Oct. 16 with 63!

Fit Status:  Dealng with a chonic health problem thats taking away from my training.Vestibular disorders lightheadness,dizzyness,nausea,panic attacks.

How I Started:
My brother started me out training the summer of 8th grade for 9th grade football .I gained 20 pounds over the 3 month summer and came into football weighing a huge 100 pounds.Joined my first gym in 1977 'Blocks Gym' in S.Calif. then owned by now president of FLEX EQUIPMENT, INC. Dan Block.I owe alot to Dan Block and his gym he was my mentor to fitness.
Why I Love It:
Ive been lifting weights for over 35 years and competed in bodybuilding ,bench press and powerlifting meets from 1978 to 1985.All my training was done natural.In 1983 I opened a gym in Montana the Mission Valley Gym located in the Mission Valley of Northwest Montana.I took great pride in helping others achieve there goals and it motivated me to excell at mine.
How I Stay Motivated:
Working out and the gym is always been a place where I could go to think ,train and better myself.After 35 years its just what I do and I never intend to stop.

Goal (Long):
To gain up to 4 pounds of muscle and get back to my training weight of 164-165. My body weight will always vary depending on diet,sleep and the amount of weight I can train with .My routine mostly consists of a HIT sets/reps .I will change the sets and reps as I feel that day and workout.Always keeping the goal in mind to lift the most weight and volume for the energy I have that day.

Do you have any type of chronic disease or condition?
Yes
What is it?
I suffer from chronic vestibular and veritgo which causes me to get dizzy spells and light headed and feel faint at times.
How does fitness help you with your condition? What do you have to do differently in your program since you have this condition?
When Im over stressed ,in heat or doing phyiscal activities I have to be careful and know my limits.
