How I Started:
I started out as an overweight runner in high school. I hired a trainer to help me make it to the state team and work through some injuries. She was a national level bodybuilder. I saw the muscles she had and wanted to be just like that. I wanted to be hard and have muscles. So as soon as my running season was over, I jumped into bodybuilding. I was almost 18 at the time.
Why I Love It:
I love the look of bodybuilders and figure competitors. That's always been m goal. I like how i feel after a good workout. I feel like I accomplished something. It also helps me work out any stress I have from the day and keeps my weight in check.
How I Stay Motivated:
My #1 goal is to get on stage. I get discouraged from time to time,like it's never goin to happen for me, but some how I still get my butt in the gym anyway. After 7 years and no competition yet gets frustrating, but I keep trying. have the determination to just keep plugging away. I like going to the gym knowing that I have alot of strength now.
BB Accomplishments:
Just reshaping my body from a fat runner to someone who has some muscles and strength. My biggest accomplishment will be getting on stage and being in the best shape of my life.
