How I Started:
I think I first started lifting weights in high school. School ended at 2:45 and I didn't have Volleyball practise until 4:30. So instead of going home, I decided to go to the gym instead
Why I Love It:
I use the gym to get away from reality, I guess it is my drug. I can go into the gym and just focus on working up a sweat and lifting weights. Just listening to my music and working hard, helps me to 1. get away from it all, but 2. reflect on my life as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
No idea, just pure enjoyment I guess?

So, lets see where I stand, 2 - 3 weeks later. I am currently in school right now, and its really tough for me to get in solid workouts, but I'm managing, and making progress. I have not included in the FST7 routine like I was planning, too much planning, I'm just sticking to the basics...

Great to see you focusing on competing next summer. Represent for us skiers, lol. How much are you weighing these days? If your still 185lbs, you put on some pretty good size the past few months. how's everything else for lifting? hit any of those previous goals yet?

thanks man! I hate the blurry ness but it's the best shot I've got of my lats/back width. Well, Jay is quite a ways from Wyoming, lol. But we don't have much snow to speak of. Supposed to be some coming in the next few days though. I got out and did some touring in CO a few weeks ago when I was there for work. Probably go spin a few groomers tomorrow on the white ribbon and hope we have enough for a good tour in a few days. BTW, your back and arms are looking thick.

Holy crap, man. I have never seen anyone mass up that fast. You are amazing! Seriously, if you're a hiker and put in a ton of time doing cardio, yet you can still increase your muscle mass, you're not human, frankly. I am beyond impressed. Whatever you're doing, keep it up! ViCh

Not much snow yet. So far been on/off. Probably have between 1-2 feet at above 9,500 feet. Haven't had a chance to get out- but heard Togwotee Pass and Targhee have been decent for low angle stuff. Hoping to get out for a tour soon. How about you? How's the Coast Range shaping up?

Was up in Whistler the past few days getting away from the spiking freezing levels in Wash. Snow was phenom, stuck to riding the wire as the avy danger was off the charts. pretty massive slide in sapphire bowl near surfs up. guess MSP set off a 9 foot fracture while filming yesterday in the Coast Range.
