Overall Goal: My goal for the remainder of 2009 is to reduce my bodyfat to 10% or less (currently at 11.7%), add 15 lbs of muscle, have those blessed abs show, and at the same time maintain a nice, fit, lean appearance.

I started working out seriously about 3 years ago. Developed some decent size and leanness. Then got out of the consistency of working out. So I'm coming back to the gym and really, REALLY plan to go all out and develop an awesome body.
Why I Love It:
Working out improves almost every other area of my life. When I'm in the gym and taking care of myself, my stress levels are low, I feel great about life in general, I have the energy and creativity to meet every challenge that comes along professionally and personally. And I love how it makes me look!
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at myself in the mirror. Seeing other built, fit bodies. I have a friend who has really bulked up, so I have this friendly competition going with him to see who will maintain the fittest, leannest body.
BB Accomplishments:
Just starting back to seriously working out and building myself up. I am VERY open to tips and guidance from you guys on this awesome site - that's why I'm using it. Thanks.

Goal (Long):
Was a skinny kid in high school. Then in my 30s started working out at the gym and put on some decent weight with a good appearance. When I turned 40, I stopped with the consistency at the gym and slowly lost my physique. While not in horrible shape, I've just started back to the gym and with a vengence! I'm excited to bulk up with muscle again, have a nice, fit, defined look, and be an inspiration for people over 40 to not give up on an awesome physique! I'm very open to tips and guidance from the many inspiring people at this site to assist and support me. I'm glad I'm a part of this community!
hey man I am doing good. lifting for 6 months now , check out my progress pics , would love your thoughts! I am addicted ....lost 20 lbs and a ton of bf% too ...all is awesome
thnnx man, i just eat a lot of protein bars and shakes in the morning loading up on slow carbs for workouts and i eat everything low in fat.. and i change up my routine about every 2 weeks.supplements helped me too.

any thoughts on supplements . I am thinking about trying BSN, ADVOCARE MUSCLEPHARM CONTROLLED LABS and Mellenium maybe gaspari (one at a time .. right now I need a good N.O. post pre workout and during and I need a kick butt fat burner. I have a multi a nd protein to use up before I figure those out ) Trying to try to find a line that works well ... any thought which one to try first ?
I got the first one when I turned 40. I got a few more ideas! Getting some work this Saturday. I just had my left nip pierced last month as a BD present to myself.
