The scale moving upward on a yearly basis and feeling dissatisfied with my body and the way I was feeling. Knowing that I am shortchanging myself for not even trying to mold myself into great shape.
Why I Love It:
Helps me figure out my body and mind. I love the consistency and reliability of the weights and the fact that I am able to progress steadily if I do this stuff the right way. It offers me a daily challenge to improve and get better at something that I enjoy doing.
How I Stay Motivated:
Sharing my passion with other people and learning from those I aspire to.

...Success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds. BIG Serb, you know how much I admire and respect your inner and outer strength. I feel fortunate to be able to participate in each others life. There is no need to add anything else because it is understood!
Thank you for all of your wishes Uschi and your email. The protocol went well. I actually had organic dark chocolate 30 min prior to the stage and a little honey -- did the trick :) I have a shoot in 2 weeks then RIGHT after Im going to build build build ... got my eye set on the vegas show in July ;)
Hey Uschi, how are you feeling? Still taking a break from the running? I think you are doing very well, you are way ahead of me. I am still trying to get some kind of schedule going but I keep pressing.
Bless you, Uschi. I appreciate that, as you are my motivating mentor. It was sad, but the spirit of 1st Cav will carry on. I'm loving the confident power you display. You continue to amaze me with your intensity. Sending Cali luv & hugs...have a fabulous Friday.
My God, you always up so early!!! Everytime I try to turn my schedule around and wake up early for cardio and remember that early bird gets the worm, I remember that ALSO, early worm gets EATEN and give up just in case!!!!HAHAAHAHAA
I'm just NOT a MORNING PERSON...
Thanks! I plan to attend a bb workshop that SNBF is sponsoring in Feb. 2010 to learn about contest training, posing, diet, and final contest prep. I'm looking forward to it. I'm still nervous when I think about it, but I believe it will be a great experience. Lol!
Any shows in your future?
Haha-thanks Champ! Yes-between the USA's, the Europa & Nationals in Dallas in Nov...I don't even have to leave the state-LOL! Awesome for you Champ! Now, if we only felt that way about squats (could go on forever)-haha :) Hal & I are really in the groove & now we just found out the Jr USA's are in H-town (moved from Vegas) so we are adding that to the comp schedule for next August!
