jcfc What a great plan! It can be so hard to give up sugar and other things our body/mind want! But with any addiction, it is all mental. Replace it with something else...gum is a common vice for me. Flavorful and helps when I want to chew something! :) Keep at it.... hitting the gym regularly will help with those cravings, too, as well as the depression. hang in there! Sep 18, 2012 10:06am

jcfc So sorry to hear that! I am still dealing with my fathers passing regularly, as there are a lot of business and various things to wrap up and will be for a while. Hang in there and allow yourself some freedom to take care of other things but the gym sure can be a stress relief, too. I have felt very driven when I have been there lately, so it is a great release! :) Hanging in there as I am sure you are too! Keep it up! Mar 16, 2012 12:56pm

jcfc Keep it up, though. It sounds like you are in a place where you need to watch your food and exercise, even if only to have the energy and focus to maintain. Sometimes that is the best. Sleep is important for repairs and health so don't overlook the simple things! Sometimes those things can also help you loose a few pounds. And even if they don't, it is great to have the energy just to live life and care for another person. Enjoy your time with her and take care of you. :) Jan 27, 2012 3:09pm

jcfc Hi. I have kind of fallen of the health wagon in the past week due to the passing of my dad. I am an emotional eater (cake primarily, where I normally never eat sugar!) or a non eater.
