I used to be in outstanding shape, (I played football, softball, volleyball, track, kickboxing, and wrestling. I had the six pack and all that) then I got preggers and after she was born I started smoking (who knows why) and not being very active. Later on, (we're talking 5 years) I needed surgery (not for my weight) and I quit smoking. Then, September of 2005 a friend of mine died at the age of 34. All due to a very unhealthy life style. (Obesity was a major cause) That was my wake up call. I don't want to be fat, I don't want to be out of shape, this is for me and my happiness! And I want to see how far I can take me!
Why I Love It:
I have always been a strong individual...freaky strong some might say. I am also very competitive and this forces me to strive for my best every single time. There is no one here to blame but yourself.
Sports have always been a main stage in my life, and now I lift with my husband and we support each other and push each other to be the best we can.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at people like Lisette, Ava Cowan, Arnold THE MAN!! Nancy Di Nino, Mike O'hearn, Monica Mark....you get the picture. And I look at me, and how far I had come in only a few months, not to mention my husband, he is such an outstanding man and supports me so much. Look inside, see who you are, and know that you CAN succeed!
One of my Life goals is to make it to the Arnold Classic as a competitor, and through Strongman Competitions I plan on being at the Arnold. One of the first women ever through Strongman. I have a lot of people to meet, and I do not take failure easily. I am determined.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing about 80 lbs, and 14+ inches, (I went from being a size 22 to size 8) gaining about 2 inches of muscle in my arms and feeling WONDERFUL! And now...benching 225! All of this has changed of course. In lifting it always does. Overall I have lost about 100 pounds. My lean muscle mass is about 150 give or take and my resting calorie burn is 1900 calories. I'd call that a pretty large accomplishment!

AudraLeechanged Overall Goal: "Life is a daily competition. Strive to be the very best.."
Life is a daily competition. Strive to be the very best.
Goal (Long):
I've taken my frame from about 280 lbs, yea I know! 280! To 180 lbs. I am not a small frame person my body type is a mesomorph, so my perfect weight is probably around 175 maybe? I don't know, we'll see where it goes. Since I started back lifting HARD I have lost 17 inches (overall) and gained two/3 in my arms, my muscle definition is starting to really show. I am really working hard on my ABS, that seems to be my hardest spot! But it is slowly changing. I also started swimming to increase my metabolism and that seems to really work for me.
By the time I am 30 I would like to be in Pro competition and/or do some modeling.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
NONE! And I'll tell you why. I am a REAL woman, I've had a child, I EAT, I like curves and although I believe I need to lose about 10 more fat pounds I like muscle and plan on gaining about 5 to 10 pounds of muscle back.NONE! Which pro bodybuilder/fitness/figure competitor has the ideal physique? Why?
Wow, there are a few. Lisette has a beautiful body. Ava does too, as well as Nancy. I have my faves. I think that their bodies are very sexy, very HWP, not overly masculine, which is a turn-off for me in the women division. Its one thing to be fit and muscular its another completely to be she hulk. I don't like it when I can't tell a man from a woman.Wow, there are a few. Lisette has a beautiful body. Ava does too, as well as Nancy. I have my faves. Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
My injury was in my shoulder. Not the normal one either. I'm not sure exactly how this happened either! lol But really its taken me almost a year to recover. I am still very gentle when lifting. Especially in bench and shoulder presses. I mainly didn't lift during my recovery. I couldn't. It hurt to bad. I was also afraid of causing further injury. My injury was in my shoulder. I am very happy that I left for Boston when I did. It gave me a day to just chill and get the plane off me. If I could have made a day extra, that would have been even better. But that's the breaks when you don't have a lot of money! I met a lot of...
