When I Started:
Jan, 2006
How I Started:
I decided in January of 2006 that I wanted to join the military. I weighed 295 at the time, and the Air Force wanted me at 214. ****ing crazy I thought. So about 7 months later I enlisted in the USAF at a weight of 212. I've always been into body building but since then I have really been dedicated.
Why I Love It:
I get to live a much healthier life. There's nothing that can top that. Walking around all day, I just feel better because of it, and hell let's not kid ourselves we all do it because it looks better too.
How I Stay Motivated:
Consistently setting new long term goals. I love a challenge, so if I keep setting new goals to achieve I'm always motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 90 pounds!

Goals:
Main Goal:
Transform My Body
Goal (Overall):
I want to cut 30 pounds of fat, and build at least 10 pounds of muscle to replace it.
Goal (Long):
I lost 90+ pounds to get into the military. After that I bulked and put on about 12 pounds of muscle, but it was a dirty bulk so along with it I gained a pretty decent amount of fat. I would like to cut off about 20 pounds of fat, and then bulk (cleaner this time!) to add on another 20 pounds of muscle. I'll probably continue the bulk/cut process for quite some time until I'm satisfied with how I look and feel.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 30 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
3-4, because I don't seem to get a good enough workout on the muscle if I do any less.
- Updated Sep 2, 2008 9:21am

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
If I'm cutting, 45 seconds to 1 minute. If I'm trying to build muscle, 2 minutes. Use lower rest times to keep your heart rate going and higher rest times to rest in between big lifts.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
I can't recall actually seeing one that really made me go "Wow! I want to look like that!"
