When I Started:
How I Started:
I saw a pic of myself in a swim suit and no shirt and realized I was "getting old". Started working out with weights a couple of times a week and over the course of about year became addicted to it. I got a late start though - almost 39 years old when I began.
Why I Love It:
I have really enjoyed the consistent progress I've made over the past few years and it's a terrific stress reliever.
How I Stay Motivated:
When I first started, my goal was 'to be able to wear a Speedo' and not be embarrassed by my physique - not that I WOULD wear a Speedo, but to FEEL like I could and look good in one. LOL.
BB Accomplishments:
Well. I continue to experience PRs at 44, so I'm still making linear progress.

Maintain a muscular and balanced physique.
Goal (Long):
My alter ego is perhaps Dorian Yates. But since I don't think 260 lbs. with 4% bodyfat is in the cards for me, and since I'm unwilling to experiment with AAS, I will be content to continue building a well balanced physique and maintain a reasonably low bodyfat level in the 10% range and occassionally diet down below that level.
