Background

When I Started: Mar 2006
HOW I STARTED:

I was into martial arts at a young age that sparked into weights and totally fit living at 16 before the Army...then it blew through the seams for survival and passionate purposes. I'll never give this up

WHY I LOVE IT:

It's clear and simple...poor health kills and I would like to live longer

I have been doing pushups my whole adult life. I love working pyramids with them and believe it or not there's a scale in the order of their Newtonic Compressive Force. Here goes;


Standard pushups approx. 1838 lbs


Slow eccentric taking 3 seconds to lower 2222 lbs.


L hand on a medicine ball 2295 lbs.


R hand on Med ball 2315 lbs


Staggered hands  L forward 2337 lbs.


Staggered hands R forward 2532 lbs.


Hands on independent medicine balls 2829 lbs.


Two hands one ball 2840 lbs.

Basic Training for me...

I wake up at about six a.m. these days. I loosen up with a hot shower and stretch out as I drink a half gallon of water to hydrate. I head to the gym and run forty minutes on an ellyptical or treadmill on typical days. I then lift weights for an hour splitting my days into upper and lower body days. If I have extra atp (Adenosine triphosphate or energy released from food into the muscles) I'll work on sprints to fully deplete. I run home in my car and during the summer literally.I love to load up on protein and whole grains afterwards. I have some days where during the evenings if my...

Right now I'm supplementing with amino acids, pottasium, fish oils and mens daily multivitamins. I run 40 minutes at night before hitting the sack. I'm still working out and took two days off this week from it to give my body the rest it needs. My carbs are complex eating oatmeal and brown rice. I've been eating eggs and fish for protein. Staying hydrated's been helpful beyond words and fatigue's minimal. I stretch and it feels great because I can go farther and do more each day! Thank you for all the motivation!
