gym_mouse the only 'big' names we have are jennifer thompson comes there sometimes (she trains with her husband at home mostly) and Christ St Clair (highland games) Michael Belk (best bench around this area)...but I don't know how popular they are anywhere else, lol! gym_mouse One gym I go to (which is 45 min from my house so I don't go too often) has nothing but powerlifting equipment (deadlift platform, good morning machine) and also strongman stuff (logs, atlas stones, farmers walk handles) but the main gym I go to has the usual commercial stuff, lol. But it does have a glute-ham raise and pretty good equipment to get things done with! I would love to go to your gym and train! We will wear tank tops and I will get one of my arms fully sleeved! gym_mouse I haven't started a log yet (I'm a slacker, I need to) and I think I need to change up my squat routine. I think we are going to add a little variation (I think I have my training partner talked into box squatting with me) so I hope that changing up a little, will help. I'm glad that you are doing well, you sound pretty happy with your results! Good job! I wish I had something (more than my deads) moving steadily. Take it easy, and good luck with your training! gym_mouse Hey! I like your new pic! Yea, I am going to do the meet on October 10th. My training partner is going to do the meet (Ironman) on August 8th. So we are getting pretty excited. gym_mouse Your right...it probably would be too taxing (especially on my hamstrings) thank you for your input. I'm sorry about your shoulder! I had a little shoulder pain but it is going away now. I'm sorry it is affecting your training! I know dieting has got to suck! I hate cardio, so do you have to do cardio? I made myself do it 3 days in a row...lazy I know lol.... Jun 17, 2009 10:48pm

gym_mouse I haven't started a training log yet (I know I am a slacker) but I am thinking of changing up my training. Do you think that squatting on monday for a 3x5 and then on thursday do another 3x5 of squats followed by the coan/phillipi deadlift routine?(on the same day) What do you think? How is your training? That is awesome that you are brutally honest....guys are funny so its not hard to figure out which ones are genuinely being nice, and the ones that are trying to get in your pants, lol! gym_mouse Yea, I have a training partner, but I don't keep a training log. I need to, because of course my memory isn't good enough to keep up with all of my weights! You cutting 20-30 pds is going to suck! Good luck with that though! May 26, 2009 10:36pm
