If you wanna lean out I'd recommend less carbs later in the day but many will disagree with me. It just seems that doing this forces your body to convert the protein you eat into energy which requires energy in itself thus burning calories. Also it keeps your muscles from deteriorating if your consuming high amounts of protein.
