My love for fitness originates in me from a very young age. I started gymnastics at the age of five and throughout my life added many sports; excelling at cheerleading and softball. After college I looked for a completive outlet, being an athlete by nature I needed something.
To date, I have participate in three NPC Figure Championships placing first in two and debuting nationally at Junior Nationals this past June placing in the top of half of my class. Being a new comer to the sport I’m extremely eager to tap all outlets of the industry and really exemplify what this lifestyle is all about. By talking with me its immediately evident how passionate and dedicated I am.
Why I Love It:
I love the competitors’ lifestyle that I live with the structure that it provides. One of my uppermost dreams is to one day present myself as a sponsored athlete where I can reach out to more individuals. I know how much I look up to the ladies who exemplify the love for this and would jump at the opportunity to do the same.
How I Stay Motivated:
Another one of my dreams is to place top 5 at a National level competition. As well as adding NPC Fitness to my resume next year :)
I keep motivated by Gods small actions everyday. It may be something as small as someone emailing me and telling me I have motivated them to reach their goals or a 13 year old girl at the gym eager to learn new exercises. You can see the passion in people as long as your exemplify and live it out to set an example.
This lifestyle chose me. I owe to myself and others who have supported me to stick with it.
My goals for this rest of this year and the following year is to finish Top 5 in Figure at a National event as well as add a Fitness debut in. My plan is to continue on with the bigger shows in Figure while I experiment with the Fitness Stage at the smaller shows.
My main goal with my competing right now is to just continue to improve my package at each showing and hopefully gain sponsorship.
Allen is bursting with knowledge and inspiration for others. By speaking with him you can tell that he is living out his dream of helping others as well as exemplifying what this lifestyle is truly about. Over the short period of time I have known him hes, without even knowing, pushed me to be a better trainer, a better person, as well as a better athlete. I look forward to following his advice in the future. Im thrilled to have his friendship.
Hey!! I would really appreciate it if anyone or hopefully everyone, lol.. would take a second to go vote for me for an abs contest I did at the Arnold 08'

Thanks for the info Ashley! I usually drink my protein shake with water as well, but if I have it as my meal in between meals, I will add a tablespoon of peanut butter for fat to keep me full.
I loved the different shoulder excercises you provided on your page. Another question. When drinking Protein shake, is it best to use skim milk or water? I was also wondering if i should do cardio before weights or after
