Physically: Through sports and an athletic upbringing.
Psychologically: Probably through action movies from the 80s ad 90s (Arnold and especially Van Damme were aesthetic role models for me).
Why I Love It:
Since day one I've had a desire to see how far I can take my body naturally. I'm genuinely curious to see what my genetic potential looks like.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the success made by natural bodybuilders. Setting small goals and keeping a vision of a long-term goal. Making strength gains a priority but also changing up my workout routine every now and then to keep things interesting. Staying relatively lean (I like to have some ab definition year round). My girlfriend is also incredibly supportive with the dieting. And my training partner, Timberwolf, is insane and always a source of motivation in the gym.
Suppose for the sake of argument that someone really discovered the best workout routine. Say it was backed up by years of scientific research and first-hand experience. It guarantees the best possible results — for everyone. But there’s one catch: It’s as boring as hell.
171 you must be hell ripped and prolly got the 12 pack happening heheh! Everytime I pop into this profile it motivates me to train better and smarter - appreciate all the support and motivation big O! Have a great xmas and looking forward to seeing were you take training in 2010.
Hey Big O, just checkin in to see how you are going. Got much on for xmas? I have been tinkering with carb loading diet again and boom, just hit 180lbs with lower BF. Finishing up on a high this year and thanks for your help - appreciate it. Cheers Piero

The one thing about abs...once you put int the initial work, all you have to do is maintain. Still looking strong bro...Hopefully I can keep up with you next year!
What's the latest! I've really been working on developing some of my weaker areas...arms and back. How training going your way? What are some of your ab exercises...I'm looking to mix it up.
