How I Started:
I was self-employed all through high school and college, so regular team sports didn't really fit my schedule. Weightlifting and late night indoor soccer were the only things I really had time to do. Soccer fell by the wayside, but bodybuilding stuck and I've done it fairly regularly ever since (minus a year and a half of being fat and lazy in college).
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because you are constantly competing with yourself - always seeing how hard you can push yourself to be better and break past your own limitations. Plus, sometimes the extra strength comes in handy... except for when people constantly ask you for help moving couches...
How I Stay Motivated:
The only times I've ever find it hard to stay motivated are when I'm just trying to maintain. If I'm not working towards a goal or trying to progress, I get bored really quickly.
BB Accomplishments:
Won my first bodybuilding show ever and got my WNBF pro card! Got first place in Open Men's Middleweight and first place Men's Overall

Well we're a little over halfway through the bulking stage, and we're also a little over halfway to my target weight, so right on schedule. I got stuck right around 200 for about a week and a half, but eating 64 oz of porterhouse in two days followed by a giant 22 oz Bub's burger + fries...
Just seeing your first pix, YOWSA! Dude, you so nailed it! Damend impressive for your first comp. And I know you had great guidance! Are you eating again, or staying cut for the OCB Indiana?
And today it starts! Thanks for pigging out with me yesterday! I needed it to keep my sanity for the next 6 months! Key Lime Pies, Wine, Mammossas, Reece's Peanut Butter Cups... Steak and French Fries by chef Lance....Mmm...
