To make it tougher, put one foot on top of the other. Do close-grip (diamond pushups). In the Army, the drill sergeant told us to make a diamond we could afford. Hands close together. Do you lift weights?

I'd say, during a 30 minute tv show, when there's a commercial break, do about 15-25,then sit back down. Wait for the show to come on. Next break, 15 more, etc. You'll build endurance, and tone muscle. Plus you won't feel as though you're working out.

If you want to build your chest, start doing pushups in between commercial breaks when watching tv. When I went to the Army at age 17, I didn't have no muscles. I started doing pushups to build my chest. I did a lot of close grip pushups. That's how you get that hump in your chest, and build the triceps.

Try hitting your triceps more, since they make up the bulk of the arms. I moved my tricep and bicep workouts earlier in the week, when I have more energy, so I can concentrate on the weaker areas. My stronger parts, like chest, I do at the end of the week. But, keep working at it, you'll get the results you want.

Hey what's up!I'm still hitting the gym hard 5 days a week. I even get a workout in at the park, when I take my daughter to go play.In between tag with her, I did about 5 pullups on the monkey bars at a time. She doesn't mine, as long as I keep playing afterwards. I got in some dips using the parallel bars they have on the steps leading up to the playscape. Gotta be creative. It was a nice change of scenery. My wife was with me, so you know I had to show out, and show her I still got it! :)

Hey what's man! I've been good. Still working out 5 days a week. Diet not so good though. I can maintain the weight, but can't get the cuts. Guess I don't want it bad enough. I know what to do, I just don't do it. I don't sweat it though. I'll get there eventually.
So how about you, how's that 6 pack coming along? Have you made any progress yet?

I'm about to write my meal plan out for the next 4 days. The 5th day will be my cheat day. High protein, low carb, low fat. That's how I lost 25 lbs of useless weight.

I keep back tracking. My weight hasn't changed, but I still need to tweak my diet. I'm still in the gym 4-5 days a week hitting it hard, but that diet, that's the hardest part. I know what to eat, when to eat it, but I don't follow my own advice. This time I'm going to write my diet plan out, because if I do, I'll actually follow it.

What's up man, you back from training yet? Time to get back to business! You ready! Get your mine right, line of the weights, and hit it hard! Oh, yeah, and don't forget the cardio. Now if I practice what I preached, I would have reached my goals already.

Congrats! Once you saw yourself slimming, did you have to try hard not to over train? I know I did.

I know it's hard to get your workouts in, and eat right when you have to do training. I hated going to the field in Ft. Hood, because I couldn't eat right. Heck, I was lucky if I got to eat on time, or more than twice that day.
Fort Eustis huh. Isn't that a Quarter Master post? I use to be a 54B30 in Fort Hood. I heard Eustis was a nice place to be stationed at.

I'm struggling with the diet. I eat clean, but not clean enough to get shredded. I just can't bring myself to do it, since I'm not training for a competition, or modeling. For now, I'll just stick with being fit at 33.
So what's been up with you? How you livin'? What's your training like?

What's up bro! The training is good. I switched it up for 2 weeks, and I'm hittin' 3-4 body parts each day. It gets you fit, but burns you out quick. This week is my last week. Good thing about it, is I always work each body part, at least once during the week. Sometimes because of my work schedule, I'm not able to get my workouts in, by just hittin' one muscle a day.

I've been doing good. I've been experimenting with my diet a bit trying to cut fat here & there. So you still doing the kickboxing, that's good. I remember you saying you started in January. I like the idea of kickboxing, I just don't have the discipline to keep doing it. I give you your props. Have you met any short term goals yet?

Your arms are looking yoked man! I see you still doing your thang! Oh, and I noticed you were doing 85lb dumbbell curls. My hat's off. Looking good bro!

I'm doing good. I started tracking my foods meals. My daily intake is around 1700 cals. I put everything in a spread sheet, and I realize, I'm not really eating anything. Most of it is the protein shakes. I need to get some more foods in my diet. There's only so much broccoli I can eat.

Amen to that! But 205, that's not bad. You're a tall dude, so you would wear it differently than me. When I was 205, I looked it. My wife said I looked good, but I guess she loves me so much, she didn't see the gut. Had to ditch it.
When you do your carb routine, do you allow for cheat days?

Preciate it. I wish I had your drive. I should've reached my goal already, but I keep falling to temptation, my wife's cooking. She's out of town for the week, so that's my time to shine. I plan on eating clean all this week. Saturday I'm off to California to meet up with her. I won't be able to eat like I won't because we're staying with her family, so no where to store the healthy stuff.
You keep lifting strong. You're consistent with your progress. You're always improving.
