I try to remember the hurt I felt over being teased about my weight. I turn that into anger and turn that anger into useful energy that keeps me trucking. I also visualize the girl I like, so that when I do ask her out, I'll feel confident. The person who seems to motivate me the most is Lou Ferrigno.
