It was something I wanted to do for a while and when the opportunity presented itself I started and I have not looked back. Until recently it was an off and on, mostly off, type of thing. However, I have decided to make working out a top priority.
Why I Love It:
I love the pump and even if I'm sore the next day, I know it will pay off with a better looking body and better health.
How I Stay Motivated:
Just one good look at the unhealthy people I see around me when I'm out and the healthy people I see when I'm at the gym. At one time I was among the unhealthy, tipping the scales at an unhealthy 202.5 lbs. of fat.
BB Accomplishments:
I can now wear pants that didn't used to fit. Now some shirts don't fit as comfortably as they used to and that is a good thing.

There is no alternative to keeping fit. Why risk poor health and possibly an early grave?
Back to work. Hope to see considerable size and strength gains by 12/31/2009.
Goal (Long):
Want to get back to 175 - 180. Almost back to a fat 190, yikes! Get rid of the fat and then bulk up to a lean 190 to 195. I'm not sure it I could pull off 200.
After a week of limited workouts I tried to do a little more today. Instead of doing just legs and some ab work I expanded my workout to arms and chest on the machines. Since my injury seems to have gotten better with the prescription strength ibuprofen I used machines only fearing free...

Jeff,
I was glad to hear from you. We probably crossed paths a lot of times at Marshall. When I was at Marshall, I lived off of rt 60 near the state police bldg. I also did a co op with the Army Corps of Engineers and did a water study on the Ohio River. I went to EVERY Thundering Herd game. That was so long ago but I remember it like it was yesterday and it was awesome!.
Hey Jeff,
Hope that all is going well in your training! keep up the great work! I just realized that we both attended Marshall at the same time! Cool coincidence!
Have a great weekend!
Hey Jeff thanks for your comment- very much appreciated. Im working hard and am staying focused on my goals! Looks like youre doing an awesome job! keep up the excellent work!
All the best!
