Appalachian guy

Overall Goal:  Back to work. Hope to see considerable size and strength gains by 12/31/2009.

Fit Status:  Looking to get in a pre-Thanksgiving workout or two.

Motivation Level: 10/10

Personal Info And Background:

High School:

When I Started:
Oct, 1993
How I Started:
It was something I wanted to do for a while and when the opportunity presented itself I started and I have not looked back. Until recently it was an off and on, mostly off, type of thing. However, I have decided to make working out a top priority.
Why I Love It:
I love the pump and even if I'm sore the next day, I know it will pay off with a better looking body and better health.
How I Stay Motivated:
Just one good look at the unhealthy people I see around me when I'm out and the healthy people I see when I'm at the gym. At one time I was among the unhealthy, tipping the scales at an unhealthy 202.5 lbs. of fat.
BB Accomplishments:
I can now wear pants that didn't used to fit. Now some shirts don't fit as comfortably as they used to and that is a good thing.
Forum Signature:
There is no alternative to keeping fit. Why risk poor health and possibly an early grave?

Which pro bodybuilder/fitness/figure competitor has the ideal physique? Why?
I'm not interested in looking like a bodybuilder or competing. I just want to be lean and fit and maybe brag some about how much I can lift.:)

Jeff, I was glad to hear from you. We probably crossed paths a lot of times at Marshall. When I was at Marshall, I lived off of rt 60 near the state police bldg. I also did a co op with the Army Corps of Engineers and did a water study on the Ohio River. I went to EVERY Thundering Herd game. That was so long ago but I remember it like it was yesterday and it was awesome!.
