Fit Status:
Be proud of yourself, because others are proud of you!
Laurel High Attended 1994 to 1998 Laurel, Maryland United States
When I Started:
Nov, 2007
How I Started:
Since I was a small child, I have always had issues with my weight. I was told that I was "stocky" and "big boned". I never really cared about my weight until...
November 20th, 2007 was the day I decided to change my life. That morning I was looking in the mirror at myself and I was disgusted with what I was seeing. I was ashamed that I had let myself get to being nearly 300 pounds. I was ashamed that I had become a person that is living a unhealthy lifestyle
Ok, that is partially true. However, here is the real reason. I was trying to talk to this girl at the time. She said to me point blank, "You can't be serious. You're way too (colorful metaphor) fat to be even seen out in public with me."
Needless to say I was devastated. It was like a switch that was buried deep down inside the pit of my belly turned on. That I promised myself that I will:
*Never again will I be fat.
*Never again will anyone make snap judgments on my looks, either good or bad.
*Never again will I let myself down and fail the most important person, myself.
This is the code that I live by every single day. Each time I get lazy and try to make excuses to not go work out. I think about those three commandments.
It's not going to happen. Not now, not never. I will not lose… Ever.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy working out, because I like the results I see. Unlike most things in life. You can see results the same day.
How I Stay Motivated:
By looking in the mirror. It is amazing how the body changes over time. I remember not being able to do one pull-up. Now, I can do over 15. Everyday is another chance to allow my self to set and proceed to break any goals I choose to set.
I also enjoy looking at the great Body Space profiles. If I can spark motivation in just one person, I believe my mission is complete.

This should give everyone a better indication regarding how large I truly was. I took this picture with my cousin.
Two years of progress. I know the first picture was taken in 2006. The reason I used this picture is because this was my only pre-transformation beach shot.

Goal (Long):
I want to inspire people. I want to show them, that if I can attempt and succeed at reaching my goals. They can do the same thing. Dedication and willpower can't be bought. I don't push supplements nor meal plans.
I am here to show that it can be done... as long as you're willing to do the work.
When I first started, this was the first profile I looked at. After 1 and a half years of training, I STILL inspire to look like this dude. Very impressive and that's real talk.

I have received many questions regarding this. I just want to note that I tend to eat the some thing everyday until loaded up. I do this because, this give me no room to freestyle on what to eat. I just looked to the weekend for a change. So here it is...
