Overall Goal: INSPIRE>>I want to show everyone that it can be done. I am a average person producing REALISTIC results!
CUTTING>>Yeah, it's time to chisel the fat away. Well, soon I will start. :)
Laurel High Attended 1994 to 1998 Laurel, Maryland United States
When I Started:
Nov, 2007
How I Started:
Since I was a small child, I have always had issues with my weight. I was told that I was "stocky" and "big boned". I never really cared about my weight until...
November 20th, 2007 was the day I decided to change my life. That morning I was looking in the mirror at myself and I was disgusted with what I was seeing. I was ashamed that I had let myself get to being nearly 300 pounds. I was ashamed that I had become a person that is living a unhealthy lifestyle
Ok, that is partially true. However, here is the real reason. I was trying to talk to this girl at the time. She said to me point blank, "You can't be serious. You're way too (colorful metaphor) fat to be even seen out in public with me."
Needless to say I was devastated. It was like a switch that was buried deep down inside the pit of my belly turned on. That I promised myself that I will:
*Never again will I be fat.
*Never again will anyone make snap judgments on my looks, either good or bad.
*Never again will I let myself down and fail the most important person, myself.
This is the code that I live by every single day. Each time I get lazy and try to make excuses to not go work out. I think about those three commandments.
It's not going to happen. Not now, not never. I will not lose⦠Ever.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy working out, because I like the results I see. Unlike most things in life. You can see results the same day.
How I Stay Motivated:
By looking in the mirror. It is amazing how the body changes over time. I remember not being able to do one pull-up. Now, I can do over 15. Everyday is another chance to allow my self to set and proceed to break any goals I choose to set.
I also enjoy looking at the great Body Space profiles. If I can spark motivation in just one person, I believe my mission is complete.
This should give everyone a better indication regarding how large I truly was. I took this picture with my cousin.
213lb in this picture. Compare my 213 lb shot to the one a year ago. Big difference, so all is not lost. We're going to get hit here in the mid-Atlantic region with snow. I was suppose to go shopping. However, I will eat a ton of cookies instead. :) I am joking about the cookies.

CUTTING>>Yeah, it's time to chisel the fat away. Well, soon I will start. :)
Goal (Long):
I want to inspire people. I want to show them, that if I can attempt and succeed at reaching my goals. They can do the same thing. Dedication and willpower can't be bought. I don't push supplements nor meal plans.
I am here to show that it can be done... as long as you're willing to do the work.
Cawiau, is what bodyspace should be about. While we may all have different reasons for what is considered inspiration. I believe this has turned out to be nothing but a personality contest. The same top 6 are listed again..
Even though he has experienced a high number of setbacks, he still continues on the path. His determination and dedication is top notch. Cawiau, shows that you don't need to be ripped to the bone, or be in the top 6 to actually be one the strongest members here.
This is going to be my last blog complaining. While many say that I "l look great", I don't believe it. I have put a bit of fat, and I know it. Now, I will focus on getting rid of it. Now, I am not going to go into what happened because you can read my other blogs. So, I will keep...
hey antonio. just passing by saying you have made absolutely awesome results! keep it up, dont start cheating! and also , i am really considering starting the anabolic diet. and just wanted to ask, how did u stay motivated? without eating carbs, and what were your favorite foods?
Yeah thats what i am saying, like today i did an awesome ab workout, but i know ive been busting it all over so i tested body weight pull ups, not only did i do more than ever before, i also controlled them and shifted from side to side, so i know that im improving, just doesnt seem like i see it. But i guess its because i see myself daily. Its mental i bet and i cant let it demotivate me right?
Yeah, you every have those periods where you "Know" that you have been busting your butt in the gym, but you dont see any results? Is it bc i am seeing myself daily? I am lifting heavy and eating right, i just dont see it...its killing my motivation, but i know that i am progressing bc i see the weight moving up in the gym?.
