After letting myself be completely sedentary, and gaining 40+ lbs during my pregnancy, I looked in the mirror and got really angry. Off to they gym - been loving it ever since!
Why I Love It:
I love it because I feel strong and inspired. I love it because it makes me a good role model for my son, an inspiration to my husband, and it makes me feel accomplished every day.
How I Stay Motivated:
I work out with a girlfriend and we push each other every day. Also, I am inspired by the women I see in Oxygen magazine, in M&F Hers, and on this very body-space. Especially the Moms!!!
BB Accomplishments:
Just getting myself up at 430am 4 days a week and getting my ass to the gym!

I have been very, very, heavy with a crazy amount of bodyfat, and I have been very, very, thin - (with an unhealthy obsession with exercise and minimal caloric intake). Right now I am about 30lbs overweight despite my trek to the gym 4 days a week. Its time for me to get more serious about eating a clean diet, and kick it up in the gym as well. I want to feel sexy in my own skin!
So I guess my NYE awake-a-thon from 4:15am-4:00am really did me in, because, I AM SURE that my alarm went off this morning and somehow, when I finally opened my eyes it was 5:58am... I have no idea how I slept through it, or what the hell happened, but let me just say that I was really,...
The MBT's are good on the treadmill, so long as you are walking. I don't go any faster than 2.5. I never run in them. I still sweat a lot, because of the "thermal training suit" ie plastic garbage bag, and the ankle/wrist weights. And yes, I have a pair of MBT's just for when I'm in the ER. lol. Our ER (the last 4yrs I've been there) is slow on the 31st. It's always the next day when poop hits the fan.
