I started playing around in the weightroom my freshman year of college, but I had no idea what I was doing. It wasn't until my sophomore year that someone introduced me to proper weight training... and I've been hooked ever since!
Why I Love It:
I am a weights girl through and through! I absolutely love the pump I get from a hard workout and I LOVE to challenge myself to continually increase my weights. If I'm not in pain when I'm finished, it wasn't a good workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
I would honestly have to say that I get a lot of motivation from my clients. I work in a corporate fitness center where members are constantly asking for exercise and nutrition advise. I get a great sense of accomplishment from helping other people reach their physical goals. I am definitely an advocate of "practice what you preach". Why should they listen to someone who doesn't train diligently and practice healthy eating themselves? They help me stay focused on striving to be the best trainer and athlete I can be.
BB Accomplishments:
My first (but certainly not last!) figure competition was in Allentown, PA in 2004. Since then, I have become even more involved in the bodybuilding community-- coaching, prepping, and judging. I love all aspects of this sport!

My goal is to take my body to a new level of fitness and compete again in Figure in 2008!
Goal (Long):
I had taken some time off from competing to focus on my career and develop my own personal training business. I am really excited about training to compete again in 2008!
I change up my routine quite frequently-- I never do the same thing for more than 4 weeks at a time. I definitely like lifting on the heavy side, so I break up my muscle groups to get the best focus on each one. My current daily workouts consist of: Back on Monday, Legs on Tuesday, Chest...
