When I Started:
Jan, 1999
How I Started:
For Christmas of 1998 I received a digital scale, per my request, and realized how overweight I was. I knew something had to be done so I went to Target and bought a home video. Soon I was addicted to them and had a huge collection. I lost 25lbs and was in the best shape of my life.
I eventually joined a gym because I felt like I just didn't have the equipment at home to see the results I wanted. I am now a gym junkie and have never looked back.
One year ago I injured my knee in a step aerobics class. A few months later I had gained 8lbs back of the 25 I'd managed to keep off for 6 years. I was mortified. I wasn't able to do my full workouts at that point, so I took a serious look at my diet and did a major overhaul.
With a clean diet, and slowly getting back into my full workout routine, not only did I lose the 8lbs I'd gained, I lost an additional 12...taking my 5'7" frame down to 127.
While I liked the numbers, I was not satisfied with how I looked so back in September '06 I started working with a trainer and nutritionist to gain muscle and shed some fat.
I am looking to compete in the Spring of 2007. I am very excited by the progress I have made, and look forward to the additional changes over the coming months.
Why I Love It:
So many reasons. I love the way it makes me feel, and the results I get. It is personal time that I take just for me. It makes me feel stronger physically and mentally.
How I Stay Motivated:
I often update my goals. They have changed from losing weight, to maintaining, to losing more weight, now gaining muscle, soon to more fat loss and competing. It keeps me on my toes. I want to see how far I can push my body.
Also, so many people I work with have noticed my changes, and find it inspiring. I've even helped a couple people lose some weight by encouraging them and helping them clean up the diet and get to the gym. Seeing other people making changes motivates me as well.
BB Accomplishments:
Completed my first FAME competition and placed 4th in Fitness Model and 3rd in Swimsuit Model.

I had gotten down to 129lbs, but was not happy with the way I looked. This was the before picture 10 weeks ago when I started with my trainer.
April 5 will be my first show, so this is about 10 weeks out. Diet is completely clean and the cardio is going way up!
I look forward to competing again, but right now I am looking to remain healthy and get through an upcoming abdominal surgery.
Goal (Long):
My overall goal is to compete, and I think that building upper body muscle will help with my overall look and therefore increase my overall placings and marketability.
I was so excited for competing again this spring, and really was feeling on track a couple months ago. However, a lot has happened between then and now, and unfortunately I will not be competing. In May I have to have laparoscopic abdominal surgery so I am not able to compete this spring. ...
Keep all the hard work in the gym and you would reach your goals Here a quote which I hope you would help you with your training There is the Point of No Return where you have Trained so Long Sacrificed so Much, That you Can't GO Back. You Must Reach Your Goal & Trample On Anyone Who tries to Stop I wise man told me that and his name was Herb Elliot Australia Olympic Champion
