Decided to go ahead and end my cut. I didn't get down to showing the 6 pack.....but feel I need to concentrate on building muscle so the next cut will have more to show off. Posted pics of where I'm at now. Feel free to comment! And if anyone is in the West Houston area and needs a...
I'm definitely not losing weight either, but I didn't really expect to. With my large frame, 125ish is about the best I can expect without doing something very drastic. (Not worth it for me, I like to do things I can keep up for a lifetime.) Anyway, I am jealous of your recovery week. I still have to finish this week before I get that, and I am needing it! Congrats on your progress so far! :)
Well, week 2 is done for me, and shockingly enough, I see the most progress already in my abs. Guess all that Ab Ripper is doing it's thing! :) How was your week?
It does present a challenge. Sometimes I do have to modify the exercises. Particularly any twisting moves. And I'll always have to do "brige" instead of "wheel." But it actually still ends up being one of the best workouts for me, as it really relaxes those muscles around my spine, and reduces back pain. So what are your thoughts about it so far?
oh believe me..i fall way too often..but really want to stay consistent and make true progress this time..u know u can do it..best of luck staying focused..and keep me posted!!
Good luck with it. The key in the beginning is to modify if need be...don't be a hero (for guys i.e. PlyoX and AbRipper). And of course the diet. It is tough but it does work.
Yes, the weight gain has been muscle. It isn't too hard for me to gain muscle weight...apparently asians have denser muscle tissue (according to a surgeon who had a tough time cutting through my muscles).
Pole dancing is a fantastic full body workout, but many studios have a strict females-only policy.
we were fine. lost power for 5 days, but we had a generator :) you're in katy, right? it wasn't bad there, was it? i lost all of my trees in my yard!! lots of 100 year old trees were knocked over all over my neighborhood. all in all, i'd say i was lucky and just fine. most people i know went almost 2 weeks without power (or generator) crazy!!!
Thanks. All is welll busy but well. Vacation? Hmmm. I have a week left and I am taking two days to go to a wedding in Arkansas next week. I think I will use the last three Thanksgiving week so I can take the entire week off and just relax at home.
Hope things are well with you too.
