How I Started:
i have always been a sporty kid. i only weighted 121 pounds in my teenage years. i really love martial arts alot. i praticed judo, jiu jitsu but my main interest went out to shaolin kung fu. when i was a teenager shaolin kung fu became really serious for me as i progressed quickly. after many years of training i met a girl who lived in belgium. i moved over to belgium and had to quit shaolin kung fu here in holland. after 3 years of working i had no time left for sport. i began to eat more and more and i started gaining weight.we got maried in july 2006 and after that we moved back to holland and i went to study at the university to become an engineer. in august 2008 i noticed that my body was really out of shape and i wanted to do something about it so i got a membership at the gym together with my wife.
Why I Love It:
i love bodybuilding because it doesnt end when i get out of the gym. i like the fact that i need to eat right and count the calories and see progression month after month. the pump i get in the gym and for me(just like many others of course) its become a way of life. i want to be healthy and be in the best shape i can be as long as i can.
How I Stay Motivated:
i stay motivated by seeing results. i am never satisfied and i know i will never be. also talking to other members here at bodyspace really keeps me motivated :D

this is me in the summer of 2006. when i look back at these picures i really know what i am training for today. i only weighted 121 lbs at that time.
i took this one right after my chest workout. i am cutting right now and aiming to get a better/lower bodyfat before x-mas :D

i think we have the same routine but just off by a day! its legs day for me tomorrow. LOL. I just had breakfast and ready for another long work day. Then its gym time. OK...im going to make sure my arms hurt like hell too. Im actually increasing the weights on everything this week. Time to shock these babies into new growth!
