How I Started:
Made the decision to quite smoking and get healthy. Working out became a way to curb my cravings and improve my health at the same time. After several months it became a habit of its own and eventually became something I enjoy doing.
Why I Love It:
I have so much more confidence and self-respect than I did before working out. I can see improvements in my body that I wouldn't have thought possible several years ago. Now I have much more control over my body.
How I Stay Motivated:
By pushing myself to work harder, and challenging myself mentally and physically in the gym, I become motivated to raise my potential. There is always the question of 'how far can you go?'. That keeps me going. I was 150lbs all through high school. I never weighed more than 180lbs in my life. My body is built on a small frame. But i believe I can defy genetics.
I want to be a lean 175 lbs! Right now I weigh about that much, but with more fat and less definition than at 165. I want to know my body's true potential. I want to impress those who used to know me as a scrawny 140 lb kid. I don't ever want my size to be an excuse for not being able to do something!
I've decided I fall into that small category of people whose bodies don't respond to creatine. My second attempt with the miracle monohydrate has yielded little results. Nothing I can't contribute to a regular dose of protein and a little hustle on the treadmill. Maybe my expectations were...
