How I Started:
I just started working out on 5/7/07, and I am struggling!!!!
Why I Love It:
When I work out, I get a sense of accomplishment and well-being, and I know all my hard work will pay off if I work my hardest.
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep looking at my "before" pics (posted--I know, gross)that I took recently, and saying to myself how dissatisfied I am with my 2-year weight gain. I also think about having a better quality of life, not only for myself, but for my baby boy.

My fitness goal is to get down to 125-130 Lbs with low bodyfat!
Goal (Long):
After the birth of my son (almost 3 years ago)I have not been able to lose the weight that I have continually put on. I have such an intense craving for sweets that this has been a long, arduous road for me. I am not really into bodybuilding as a hobby, but I came to this site so I could learn how to lose weight and build muscle, and to gain some insight on weight lifting. I hope to lose around 40-45 pounds by September, and I am more motivated than ever! I plan to work out 6 days a week, incorporating a mixture of weight training, intense cardio, and some pilates for relaxation. Any tips you guys may have for me is greatly appreciated, because not only do I want to lose weight, I want to get a little ripped too!

I am so happy and proud of myself. Today I worked so hard, and I just feel so energetic and motivated and I can't wait to start seeing results. I must admit, however, that I get a little discouraged working out at home. I am so flippin' distracted by my almost-3-year-old son that I NEVER get...

Now that we are hours away from 08 and you'll probably be reading this after not logging in since october and only (and I a guessing here) because it's the start of a new year and you want to get back on that fitness horse and obtain them goal by mid year and look as you want by year end.
