How I Started:
My husband and I signed up for a 12-week Bootcamp Program in March of 2008. It was intense emotionally and physcially (to the point of tears at times) and unlike anything I'd ever done before. At first I trained because I was unhappy with the way I looked and felt. A few weeks into the program I began enjoying my workouts and before long, I looked forward to them. It was during this time that I decided to get certified to instruct group fitness classes. We finished the bootcamp program and went on to an Advanced Lifting Class, this too was a 12-week program. As I finished the Lifting Class, I began to teach classes of my own. The rest is history!
Why I Love It:
There are so many obstacles you can overcome while training, whether it be weight loss, building muscle, gaining confidence, and improving overall health. Things you may never have thought possible, become reality if you put in the effort and hard work!
How I Stay Motivated:
I now get the opportunity to assist others in reaching their goals! It really is an amazing thing! I couldn't ask for a better, more rewarding career!!!
