I had 1 year in the Military, and decided to move on my dream in playing Professional football.
Now I play Indoor Arena Football Professionly and training for the SC Elite Combine in June at Akron, OH for the NFL.
Being a Strong Safety, Corner Back, and a Running Back,I have to be just right with my fitness.
Why I Love It:
When I was younger I was over weight and kids used to talk about me all the time. But now those times are over and people always ask me what they should do and how should they train. It Keeps me healthy, ready for game play, and my wife loves it. And I want to be 70year old and still be about to run with my grandchildren when that Time comes.
How I Stay Motivated:
My Heavenly father. I keep reading my Bible and I get my motivating and dedication from Him. I love football and Helping People, and fitness is what help me out of my slumps, and stay out of trouble when I feel upset.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing a Lot of fat and building muscle, and training to get my 40 down from a 5.1sec to a 4.49sec. I would of thought that It would of been my bench press, but that 40 took it by a long shot.
"My Goal is to compete in the SC Elite Combine for the NFL in June, 07 at Akron, OH!"
Goal (Long):
"I Play Indoor Arena Football, and training to play in the NFL, CFL, or NFLEurope. I love Football, and play Professionally for 2years now, and pretty good. I would like to be 225 pounds, with 8% bodyfat, and be able to bench 225 at least 18 times. I have 19 weeks until my Combine and with consistence I can hit at least half of my goal!"
key to geting faster is very simple it will take about 2 years max to reach tht time though because you are in yur 20's. build up your hamstring size, and lower back strength, along with plyometrics to shorten musce contraction time, and sleds with about 60% of your body weight.
Yo man, best of luck with your tryout, I'm trying to do the same thing, but for the CFL....Keep GOD first, and he will honor you with nothing but success!
Sorry for the late reply. I vary my diet because I switch between bulking and cutting every 3 months or so...I usually fluctuate about 25 lbs. I eat 7 times per day. When bulking I eat clean and alot of carbs but will eat whtever I want sometimes because thats the easiest way for me to get the weight. When cutting...I keep the protein high and drop the carbs and fat..Until I eventually get down to about 100 carbs per day...I substitute the carbs out for veggies. Hope this helps. Keep it up -BW
