Background

When I Started: Apr 2007
HOW I STARTED:

I worked out on and off since I was a kid. I grew up taking my moms aerobics classes that she taught at 5 am before I went to school.I started lifting in high school, but I got serious and started competing in 2007 after I had my first daughter.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I want to be healthy and a good role model for my 2 daughters

2 month old baby

Well, the wee one is already 2 months old! My delivery went well, I was induced. My labor was only 45 minutes!!! Super Easy! I did workout in the morning before heading to the hospital, had to get in the last workout for a while ;). I started working out again after 1 week. I took it slow and gradually got back to full force by the first month. I was able to get back down to a few lbs. below my original starting weight by 2 weeks. However, I did lose muscle. I have now held the same weight for the last 6 weeks, but I must be adding a bit of muscle. I do think it will take some time for my horm...

Well, this is it! I am a week away from getting induced, unless I beat the Dr to it. I am still working out. Cardio 30-60 min a day a minimum of 5 days per week, and weight training 5 days per week. I have been a bit more tired the last few weeks, so I have taken a few naps here and there, which is not like me at all. I have done well with the weight gain this time around. While during the last pregnancy I gained 60lbs, this time I only gained 16 lbs. The baby is a good weight according to the ultra sounds, so everything looks good. I am getting all the last minute things ready this week, then...
