How I Started:
I always enjoyed lifting weights since I began at age 14. I ran sprints in track and lifted weights all through high school. I was never serious about all aspects of bodybuilding until Jan. 2009 when I deployed to Iraq and needed something positive to occupy my off time.
Why I Love It:
I love watching the progress from all the hardwork that goes into it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Coming to this website has been keeping me motivated. I am currently deployed to Iraq so there is little else to do but work harder than ever towards my goals in my spare time.

To transform my body and lifestyle I started out with a few steps. First, I quit smoking on 22 Feb 09. Then I cleaned up my diet. Now I am working harder than ever in the gym to reach my goals. My goal is to drop below 10% bodyfat while maintaining as much lean muscle as possible. Once I reach my bodyfat goal I will begin a clean bulk to add-on more muscle.
Elijah is an inspiration to so many. He is also a fellow military member. His drive and determination keeps me motivated to push even harder through my goals and not just accept the "good enough" mentality.
*Each workout is done 3 sets of 12/8/8 reps and 4 workouts per major muscle group (ie 4 for chest, 4 for triceps) Below is an example of one 4 day rotation. My workouts occur after dinner*
On Mon/Wed/Fri, I do HIIT High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) after lunch and then...
yeah I know like dumbell curls, I dont feel those at all, I mean its heavy or its light, but I dont get anything from it for a pump. I feel barbell curls, cable curls hammer curls and this machine at the game where you put your arm on a pad and curl down toward yourself, you'lve probably seen one at your home station. but a lot of dumbell things dont work for me.
Dude - All nuthugging aside and throwing my bias towards you away because you're over there keeping me free to do this **** back home - if I had your build I would be more than happy. Man, I'm sure when you get back here and you can go back to living a normal life you are going to be an even bigger animal.
Hey Man - Thanks a lot for the kind words. Yep, I'm still going hard at it. Trying to see those abs by my 30th in November. You're looking like a brick ****house, dude! Coming Home soon?
ah not bad, my back is growing pretty well, but my bi's are kinda lagging behind. my tri's are starting to show some shape and size just gotta keep pushing them heavier. but I dont get my bi's man. can't get them to peak at all
