How I Started:
I first began lifting weights back in middle school. I've been an athlete my entire life but since I've graduated college and stopped playing football I have not consistently worked out. I'd go hard for 2-3 months and then just stop....completely.... for months. Until now that is!
Why I Love It:
I love to feel strong and see the progress.
How I Stay Motivated:
I use my kids as motivation. I have to beat diabetes. They need their Daddy!

Goal (Long):
Maintain a healthy lifestyle so I am able to manage my diabetes and live as long as possible. Both my grandmother and my aunt were taken from this world ahead of their time because they were not able to manage the disease. I don't want that to be me. Training has become a priority and a great, muscular physique is what I am aiming for.
Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
I workout at the school I work at. It's convenient because I can workout before work or right after work without traveling. Man, that actually sounds good of what I can remember of it. You sound like you'll have your body back in no time since you're trying to be 180. Question though. After you get to 180, then what?
