On and Off again athlete all my life. Most recently, I stopped working out due to higher dedication to business goals (approximately 2 years without any real physical activity). I weighed 225 lbs in November of 2007 when I began lifting again. As of June 2008, I am 193 lbs and training with renewed dedication.
Why I Love It:
I like the way I feel and look. I like the way others look at me when I am energetic and fit. I love the elevated athletic ability that comes from be active and fit.
How I Stay Motivated:
Positive motivation: The way I look and feel.
Negative motivation: The way I used to look and feel.
BB Accomplishments:
The highest accomplishment I have achieved would be an Adventurer Racing success I posted in 2004. I competed in a 3-man, 36 hour adventurer race in the North Georgia Mountains. My team and I finished 3rd out of 75 teams, finishing ahead of 4 teams comprised of Army Rangers.
Eat right, train regularly and have no regrets. The Sprint Triathlon is 400yd swim, 12 mile bike, and 2.1 mile run. My main goal is to sustain a steady pace through the entire race. I'm not trying to win this, just have a positive experience. After this one I will begin training to win.
My secondary goal is to develop a physique to be proud of. I have dropped from 225 lbs to 190 lbs over the last year. But I still seem "skinny fat!" i have to tone that into a lean, muscular physique.
Weight Goal:
Bodyfat Goal:
10%
Upcoming Contest:
Valentine's Day Triathlon

Hey Thomas! Thanks. Rehab is getting there I guess. Not as fast as I would like it! I had to LEAVE the gym today cause I was in so much pain. :-( Not how I wanted to workout, but whatever. I hope you have an awesome weekend. xoxo Tamar
It does come with a diet book and it is SO EASY to follow. They do have supplements they would like you to take, plus a recovery drink and protein bars. I didn't buy any of that I just researched it and found products just like it for a far less price. my wife does it with me and this is the first time ever we have enjoyed working out together. Having a partner does make it seem easier and more fun. Thanks for reading my blog!
My gf & I are going on Carnival. Aug 10 - 17. I'm excited, it'll be my 1st cruise. I'll let ya know how it went. We've schedule a few excursions (zip-lining, cave tubing, etc).
Thanks for the comment on my blog! I am starting the program next week because my resistance bands still haven't come in and I need to buy a chin up bar. Monday July 14th will be my first day..Wish me luck! I will post a new blog about it
The snorkeling was awesome! I just got SCUBA certed so I've done alot of the springs around here. I'm going on a cruise in Aug & have scheduled a 2 tank dive in the Caymens. I'm totally stoked!

I was centre midfield, I finished my eligibility last fall, now I'm doing 5th year aid to finish my degree before christmas. UGA! nice! you still coaching there?
I know. I was totally shocked by it. But when I started to think about it English Bulldogs just don't have a long life span. About 10 years is the max.
Things are great in Athens! I mean, it's ATHENS! :) Although I'm still sad about the passing of Uga VI. :( So when were you a soccer coach? I'm a huge fan of soccer (I was captain of my high school varsity team).
