How I Started:
I've always been healthy and fairly fit but always underweight. I wanted to put on some weight and figured I might as well make a career out of it as well. My workouts will start soon and progress will be kept up to date.
Why I Love It:
It's refreshing and makes you feel better. When I workout and exercise I sleep better and feel more refreshed the next day. I feel stronger and ready to take on the world each and every morning.
How I Stay Motivated:
Friends are the biggest influence. That and the will to be healthy and fit. To feel good about myself and my appearance. And to also hopefully inspire others to get in shape and better themselves.
Gain 30 pounds of muscle by next spring so I can fill out my long frame a little better.
Goal (Long):
After gaining the muscle I want to keep it on. Not to slack after getting it. I feel healthy and want to keep it that way. I don't intend on competitive body building or competing in shows. I just want to fill out my frame and look good without a shirt. Not like the skeleton I am now. I intend to overcome my fast metabolism and keep at a healthy normal weight for the rest of my life.

No
Why or why not?
They think I should be happy with being skinny. While I'm not saying it's a bad thing it's just not the healthiest thing. What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Do what makes you happy. Don't hate yourself as you are but if you have a desire to change your appearance or make yourself healthier then don't let anyone get in your way. Not even your family. If they cannot support you find friends and other bodybuilders who can support you and keep you motivated. Never back down! Do what makes you happy.
