After losing about 50 pounds, I decided I needed to add weights into my program so I would have a nicer shape when I was through!
Why I Love It:
I love working out and bodybuilding! When I weighed 256 pounds, I dreaded working out. Now, I view working out as a form of empowerment. I love jogging past people driving to fast food restaurants! I KNOW I'm doing a great thing for my body!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by pulling out my before pictures! I like to keep them handy to remember I NEVER want to go back to that.
BB Accomplishments:
Obviously, my major accomplishment has been losing more than 100 pounds.

If I can do it, anyone can!

This is me at my heaviest weight of 256 pounds. YIKES!!!
I needed a picture for M & F Magazine, so I got a friend to snap this at work!
What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
At some point, you need to stop seeking motivation and just learn that this is a way of life.

What supplements do you take immediately after your workout? Why?
I take ISS Complete Whey Power mixed with 6 oz Gatorade of 3 oz fruit juice and water. I also take ISS BCAA's. I do this, because it helps me rebuild what I just tore down.

Do you sometimes use energy enhancing supplements?
Yes
Which supplements do you take? When do you take them?
I take Promino Plus every morning. It's just supposed to help you think clearly, but it makes me feel like I can do cartwheels, and I've never even done one!
I draw strength from the energy & passion others exhibit, demonstrate & inspire others with. So yes, your words help keep the fire burning.

Just read a couple of your blogs. They were great. Very smart. Very "be responsible for your fitness". Congrats on your accomplishment(s). Cheers, Mike
