How I Started:
I've been a dancer since I was 4 years old and was in drill team in high school and in dance competition teams. But I joined a gym when I graduated high school...I used to be REALLY into working out when I was 18/19 years old...but as time progressed I got lazy due to a relationship (damn those relationships) but now being 25 I am ready to get back into shape and be serious about my health and body.
Why I Love It:
I like to workout because it makes me feel good and gives me energy and something to work towards.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by creating mini-goals for myself. Reaching those goals makes me THAT much more motivated to keep it up!
BB Accomplishments:
None yet...but maybe I'll be able to do some real push ups soon...YES I'm THAT wussy right now. I can only do girly push ups...

Goal (Long):
I am going to keep doing cardio 3 times a week (I hate cardio) and pump up the weight training to 4-5 times a week! It's been so long since I've been serious about weight training, so I hope to get back into the swing of things.
I am in Atlanta now and don't have anyone to lift with nor do I know anyone who goes to my gym so it sucks :( - but hopefully when I move back to Boise in December I can find some workout partners!

Why I like this video: Although it's from the early 1990's - I love 8 minute abs and this video IS effective! And you gotta love the bright blue spandex outfits! :)
Bleh. That's how I feel. It's already week #4 and I have has so many set backs....I thought I would have been further along and lost more weight than I have by now. I have probably lost an inch around my waist but gained 2 lbs...I know it's muscle, but as a girl when you see the scale go UP...
