I was originally inspired by 'Body for Life' and the movies 'Pumping Iron' and 'Body of Work'
Why I Love It:
A physique transformation begins in your mind first. You have to see it, visualize it and believe it.
The decisions and actions you make on an hourly/daily basis all add up. Because, if you don't make gains every single day, when are you going to make them?
This is why I love bodybuilding...the discipline required to get into shape quickly translates into other areas of your life.
Some amazing things have manifested in my life in the last 3 months, most of it too personal to reveal right here in my profile.
However, one amazing development is writing exclusive articles for Tom Venuto's private membership site at 'Burn The Fat Inner Circle'.
I hold this dear to my heart as Tom is someone I have admired for years and back in my 'dark days' I could never have dreamed that I would be writing articles for him.
I could write another 10 paragraphs but I think you get the point. YES, I love bodybuilding!
How I Stay Motivated:
Using visualization pictures and constantly setting new goals. I also have hundreds of daily readers to my 'original' blog (listed above)which holds me accountable.
On my 'original' blog I have documented every single day of my ongoing journey since Day 1 November 8, 2006.
The blog contains daily pictures, progress reports, specific workouts & nutrition plan, and also my emotions, thoughts and struggles as I progressed.
But be warned, some of it is very personal stuff, it is not light reading.
BB Accomplishments:
Writing exclusive articles for Tom Venuto's private membership site 'Burn The Fat Inner Circle'. Placed in Top 2000 in Body for Life 2000.
My Mission 2 goal (46 days from February 7, 2007 to March 24, 2007) is to hit 5% bodyfat (from current 10.3%) and increase muscularity.
Goal (Long):
My vision is a shredded six-pack kickin' it in Phuket. I went there in August last year and was embarassed by my shape. Actually I had been ashamed of myself for 6 years for letting myself go from November 2000 up to November 2006. Way back in 2000 I got down to 8% bodyfat but then tiredness and guilt set in.
Now I want to make up for lost time and live my dreams, one of which is a totally shredded six-pack.
