I returned from Iraq and gained about 30 pounds of fat. I had never been that big. I was weighing about 220 form my normal 185. I decided I needed to make a change so I got to work.
Why I Love It:
It is like a drug once you get into it you just can't stop. I have to continually feed the addiction. It is always straight with you. Life can be good or bad the gym will always be the same!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Bodyspace is definitely a motivation tool. Seeing all the people who put in the effort and then seeing their results. Working out makes me happy. It is like my own little world. Just me the weights and my MP3 player!!
My goals have changed as of late. Right now I would say that my main goal is to get a better understanding of weight training and work on keeping my body guessing. I am trying to put on a good amount of weight, but being in the Navy some tend to judge. My max weight for my height is 196, which I will never be again. So it is hard, but I will keep on gettin on!!
In Feb. they removed my left medial meniscus. Now in August they are going to put one in. I am getting a cadaver transplant. I did my pre-op today. It was long and boring. Because I work in the medical field siiting there listening to what I already know and waiting for over 5 hours...
yeah bro, i play football, basketball and i box...so i never really had to train them, so i figured id start hahaha. keep up the hard work bro! it will come
lol im tryin man...no where near where i want to be but im gettin there...the progress pics a lookin good man...im stuck in san diego till august 21st...id like to be close to 300 on bench by then...but im concentratin more on my abs then anything else...keep it up bro looking good
Hell ya good old Jerry, he is moving soon though, but he is a bad ass..it's weird sometimes he comes to our BBQ's and such, we are really good friends with his new wife.
love the take me for a ride shirt....i have the same one hahaha i used to wear it all the time and got made fun of by all my friends so i am now planning on making a bunch for every one of those mother ****ers hahah.
Thanks so much.Nutrition it really is a pain, until you get the right formula that works for you,all that process is agravating, but with a goal in mind i guess is a give and take thing.
