Overall Goal: I have been gone for almost 10 months and I have made some good changes. Now I have a few weeks left to clean up before I see the wife. I hope she likes what she sees!! Still reppin' the DO WORK CREW!!!
Fit Status:
Back from the ship and a great time in Australia. Time to cut a bit and get ready for the wifey!!
I returned from Iraq and gained about 30 pounds of fat. I had never been that big. I was weighing about 220 form my normal 185. I decided I needed to make a change so I got to work.
Why I Love It:
It is like a drug once you get into it you just can't stop. I have to continually feed the addiction. It is always straight with you. Life can be good or bad the gym will always be the same!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Bodyspace is definitely a motivation tool. Seeing all the people who put in the effort and then seeing their results. Working out makes me happy. It is like my own little world. Just me the weights and my MP3 player!!

Goal (Long):
My goals have changed as of late. Right now I would say that my main goal is to get a better understanding of weight training and work on keeping my body guessing. I am trying to put on a good amount of weight, but being in the Navy some tend to judge. My max weight for my height is 196, which I will never be again. So it is hard, but I will keep on gettin on!!
You are a true inspiration!! You have accomplished things in a wheelchair that most able bodied people will never even comprehend. Stay strong and keep at it!!

Well, I think I have made a little progress while on the rock. I was able to control my diet and workout when I wanted to. Now I head back to sea and then the field for a month. MRE's are the best way to control a diet, but hopefully if I get some good ones and if it is hot enough where...
