By August 29th I want to be at 200 lbs. Ultimately, I want to drop to 170 lbs, while burning fat and building muscle.
Goal (Long):
By September 11, 2009 I will have reached my body weight goal, lowered my blood pressure, packed on some serious muscle and greatly increase my cardivascular endurance. I will eat 5-6 small, nutricious meals each day, weightlift 3 days a week, do cardio 2 days a week. By the time it is done I will have a body that God intended for me to have!

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
About a minute between sets, two between different body parts. None on final set in each body part. Insures that muscles are worked just hard enoungh so as not to undertrain nor overtrain.

I took some profile pictures today. There are some changes in there (8 lbs lighter), but it just seems like there should be more progress. When you look at yourself every day it gets hard to see that your changing....I mean I've lost a small toddler in the last few months (in fat that is),...

Qualified to "This is what worked for Rob". Once your over the "changed habits" part of initial weight loss, you need to get to a diet that works for you that doesnt leave you insane. Then, i had to add cardio. For me diet was the most important step. I lost everwhere else before my stomach would give it up. Yumyumcat told me to have patience and it took years to gear overweight, it will take much less time to get to 12-14% bf. It took a year to get to 14%bf. Best Rob
