I've always been a "foodie" and love to cook. When I hit my teen years I started to baloon. At my highest I was 286.I have kids and am concerned for my future health. I read "The Fat Smash Diet" by Dr. Ian and started to change my lifestyle. My longterm goal is to be 175-185 pounds, lower my overall body fat, and become healthy and fit.
Just look at his transformation!!! It's amazing at what he has achieved and his accomplishments and transformation just gave me a serious boost. Just what I need. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us flyboyjustice- you OWN!
Ok for starters I was going heavy on the cardio and light on the weights just to maintain some muscle. Eating clean as directed with the occasional cheat (4 or 5 beers...and I mean beer not that lite crap! :D ) day. Anyhow....
I've finally got the wife on board and she is going to start...
Day1: 3 x Chest, 2 x Triceps, 1 x Abs
Day2: 15min HIIT
Day3: 4 x Legs, 2 x Shoulders
Day4: Rest
Day5: 2 x Back, 2 x Biceps, 1 x Abs
Day6: 15min HIIT
Day7: Rest
3 x Chest: BB Presses, DB Incline Presses
2 x Triceps: Skull Crushers, Cable Pushdowns
1 x Abs: Situps and Planks

I hope that you do give Body for Life a look-see; it can never hurt to have lots of information. Your attitude is great and although you are right about it taking some time, you will start seeing changes in the not too distant future, which can only help to motivate you even more. Believe in yourself and the power of the Lord and you will get where you want to go.
