How I Started:
I've been active all my life. Just switched my interest from swimming to triathlons and figure competitions in the last year. I just did my first figure competition this month!
Why I Love It:
I love looking and feeling strong and buying new clothes!
How I Stay Motivated:
I find I MUST train for something specific. I can't just train for the sake of training or to not gain weight. I need a specific goal and date to shoot for, whether it's a 5K, a tri, or figure competition.

Nothing yet. I'm still a noob! Is not tripping over your own feet the first time you're on stage an accomplishment?

My goals are to look as feminine and strong as I can and to lean down my legs for my next show. I have to dial those babies in better next time! In 2009 I'm really hoping to make massive changes in my delts, hammies, and glutes. I know I can do it!
What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
Terrible form and over development. My high school coach was pretty old-school in how he had his girls swim team lift weights.
