Well the catalyst for my interrest in BB is the classic and original; Seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger in his action movies. I was awed by his physique and decided I wanted to look like that, big, strong and confident.
I started working out at home at age 15. I was to young to join a gym and therefore purchased the "Total Gym 1000" machine from TV Shop (this one actually works). In mid 2003 i took the plunge and joined a Gym at age 17. My guidence/inspiration and knowledge came from Arnolds "The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding".
Why I Love It:
The fascination to the extent one can change ones body.
Makes me feel good/confident.
It's healthy.
How I Stay Motivated:
Wanting to constantly improve my body.
My goals.
BB Accomplishments:
Danish Championships:
06 Junior 1st place.
07 Junior 1st place. Senior 4th out of 6.

what we do, all the grueling workouts, the tons of food we consume, all the sacrifices we make; it all comes down to a single day, and after that we get back in the gym and start over.... Bodybuilding is my life

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Phil Heath. An awesome physique, mass and aesthetics. His body parts are in harmony with one another.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Unknown, probably a deep tissue tear (at the top of the gluteaus and at the very bottom of the spinae erectae), caused from squating to heavy without a spotter. Took a 4 week break from leg training and heavy back excersises deadlift and bent over rows, squating was put on hold for 8 months. Still have a few probs.
Shoulder injury caused from the DB falling backwards/pulling down on my arm while doing incline DB press. Resulteds in a muscle tear, recovery time about 3 months.Unknown, probably a deep tissue tear (at the top of the gluteaus and at the very bottom of the spinae erectae), caused from squating to heavy without a spotter. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Thanks for the add!! My gains have been going great and trying to hit my goal of 330lbs by end of year.. Got 3 shows next year start, my pre contest in Jan.
Winter's coming here .. making it a bit harder to work out outside ... and these days the inside of the gym looks downright inviting! :)
Still packing on that muscle?
It's mildly amusing ,in a way , to hear you talk about taking time off to grow muscle. At 242 lbs and 5'11" .. *small* is not a word I would ever associate with you. :) Personally, though, I do think it's a good idea that you have to not be yo-yoing between gaining weight and striving to lose as much fat as possible to get into contest shape every year.
Hey man...isn't it the middle of the night over there? lol. It paid off, the difference from the older to newer pics is so obvious, that's what made me comment...cheers mate...great job! What'd you place?
Hey man, wow. The progress pics are great! I was laughing at your first pics saying you had too much bodyfat...but a year later you are bigger and definitely tighter...even a dumbass like me can see that. Awesome!
