When I Started:
Oct, 2000
How I Started:
Started lfiting weights for sports in high school and general fitness. I was an over weight kid, then lost a lot of weight and got into excercise. Have continued to get more serious with lifting since I finished highschool. It is now my sport. Training for the event of life.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuiling because you are never finished. You might complete cycles, achieve goals, take breaks and experience set backs, but you are never finished making yourself the best you can be.
How I Stay Motivated:
I strive to learn continually, improve my form, increase my knowledge, push myself to new limits. I'll be honest and say that the presence of other guys around me at the gym is also a huge motivation. I make it a goal to train just as hard as any one else in the gym.
BB Accomplishments:
I've just competed in my first comp. I was extremely happy with the way I looked. From here, I'm looking to take a few months to try and build as much muscle as possible before starting to diet again for a show at the end of september this year.

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
I havn't necessarily established a career yet, but I think it will majorly. I hope to work in management at gyms, with the eventual goal of owning a gym one day. Even if it is a franchise of an existing chain, I would see that has a huge accomplishment professionally!I havn't necessarily established a career yet, but I think it will majorly. What are your personal NON-FITNESS life goals?
Be happy. Achieve all I can professionally, and see as much of the world as I can! I want to write a book one day too. It would be nice if some people bought and even read it as well!

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
In some ways, it makes up a huge part of my identity. People associate me with this type of lifestyle. Whenever people ask me how I've been, they usually accompany it with How's the gym going?, or How's training going. In many ways it is who I am, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have had times when I've been very social, and enjoyed drinking and going out, probably too muc. I'm not drinking at the moment, and at times it is difficult socially, but every sacrifice and step toward the goals is worth it! I'll have a nice cold beer or two waiting for me when I've finished my comp in May and have the results to show for it!In some ways, it makes up a huge part of my identity. I am humbled as well as feeling incredibly honoured after reading your much too kind message. I feel that you give me too much credit and recognition for the little I have done. Now you sir, that is an accomplishment and something to inspire so many others, myself included. Stay strong!
I stopped by to say that you look absolutely fantastic! You have the body that so many men want but are not willing to put the effort into developing. I compliment you on your dedication, determination as well as your achievements. You are a fantastic inspiration to others, especially me. Stay strong, focused and determined & may God bless.
